Cold Nose Investigators® (CNI) is a professional K-9 service that assists Law Enforcement agencies and Individuals.

Curt is a retired Law Enforcement Officer with 33 years of County, State, and Federal experience. He brings with him expertise in technical and complex investigations (including natural resource and wildfire), crime scene management, incident command structure, leadership, and man tracking. He also has vast experience as a trauma specialist medic and a natural resource Law Enforcement instructor/trainer.

Cathy is a K-9 Special Deputy, Private Investigator and Medicolegal Death Investigator specializing in K-9 cadaver detection, narcotics detection and tracking. She brings with her expertise in human osteology, forensic anthropology, skeletal facial reconstruction, clandestine grave location and recovery, crime scene preservation, blood spatter analysis, and man tracking. Cathy is also a certified Missing Animal Response (MAR) Technician, Pet Detective and certified in Pet First Aid through The American Red Cross.

Both Curt and Cathy are certified statement analysts.

Besides Moose and Zoe, there is a third Golden, Josephine. She is a very big part of the family and has a special job as a certified Therapy Dog. For the past 5 years, Josephine has participated in an after school "Reading Buddies" program for 3rd - 6th graders. Josephine's other therapy dog duties include hospital visits, Hospice patient visits, mass disaster victim assistance and library reading programs.
